Welcome To
Royal Highlands Dairy Goats!

Delight Picture Located in Northern Idaho, we strive to breed a structurally correct, strong yet feminine, naturally healthy goat. Our goal is to breed does that will maintain long level lactations and high production over many years while at the same time retaining the linear type and graceful style that makes up a quality show goat.

Our girls are on official Dairy Herd Improvement Associtaion (DHIA) Milk testing again in 2014 in connection with the the American Dairy Goat Association (ADGA) and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). We have done very well in previous years, including 2010, 2012 ADGA TOP TEN titles. We try to Linear Appraise our goats each year and are very pleased with our Linear Appraisal scores. In 2011 all of our mature animals (over 3 years old) scored 90 or 91. Our average score for ALL milkers and bucks was 86.1. We had a large number of younger animals that year, so we were happy with that. All of our does age 2 and up (except one) also received their Superior Genetics awards if they hadn't already. Crystal, Glitter and Claire also were named Elite does for 2011, Crystal being an Elite doe from 2009-2013 so far !! We are very proud of our girls.

ALL our goats are tested for CAE.  WE ARE A 100% NEGATIVE HERD. We CL test all goats prior to entering our herd, and our whole herd is CL negative.  We plan on G6S testing all of our Nubians as we are able, My-Enchanted-Acres SonRise being our first we tested, he tested NORMAL : ). Crystal, Delight, Jewel, Valence, Jasper, and Igniter are now all NORMAL as well. Poppy

In 2010 we received our Idaho State Permit # RGM 012 as Idaho's 12th Raw Goat Milk Dairy. This has been a big step for us. After being a dream for years, our small dairy is finally becoming a reality! We now sell Raw Goats Milk at the Kootenai County Farmer's Market as well as directly from the farm.

Honestly with the economy and American culture we don't know what the near future holds, but we believe that God has lead us to this farm and now almost 20 years later to start the dairy. So, in that... we would encourage everyone: Know what God wants from you in your life and then walk out what you KNOW to be true, not just what you or someone else thinks might be true. Make sure your "KNOWING" has a trustworthy foundation.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart; and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.  Proverbs 3:5-7 (The Holy Bible)
